Assurance and Telstra Health Clinical Manager

Assurance is set to take clinical management to the next level with its Telstra Health Clinical Manager (Clinical Manager) Integration. Now, both single and multi-facility aged care providers can easily pull resident incident information from Clinical Manager across to Assurance, removing double handling of information from one system to another. Clinical Manager integrates care and service records with Assurance. This allows aged care providers to seamlessly monitor and report on investigations, including those mandated under SIRS and the NDIS reporting. The result is a single comprehensive solution to manage compliance and clinical care requirements.

The Incident Management Process

The integration process begins when an adverse incident has occurred and a report must be made. Initially, a report of the event is completed in Clinical Manager to record the incident against the resident’s file. This may include recording care and service provisions, progress notes, work logs, or creating a care plan for review. The information entered in Clinical Manager is then sent on an hourly schedule to Assurance so that the latest information is available and any necessary investigation can be quickly lodged and completed. The incident report is then visible in Assurance where easily accessible dashboards empower managers to identify areas for continuous improvement and report to management or the Board.
